Researchers make 25 ton "boulders" they can move by hand

It's not really fair to call them boulders, they're custom statues with rounded bottoms that are carefully balanced, but they can be moved. The purpose of the project is to show that it's possible to build monolithic stones like those on Easter Island and at Stonehenge and move them by hand.

Wow that's amazing! I'm glad people are realizing that human beings made those giant structures and it's not (all) aliens

I thought it was pretty awesome. I loved the vid segment where he removes a stick from the rock and it rights itself. Such an amazing balancing act.

Granted, it's modern engineering and construction, but it shows it can be done, and without tractor beams! :-)
