Ever since Spamalot I've been expecting this.

I'm looking forward to Spamalot opening in Vegas, as I'm much more likely to go there than NYC. They're cutting something like 20 minutes from it, but according to a friend who saw it in NY, it can stand a little bit of cutting.

I've not seen it, but since it was sucessful I expect any number of like minded musicals. (Actually, I think this started when The Producers was a hit)

I think Princess Bride could be very well suited to become a musical. Particularly if they work off the movie, it's got the right feel. It could go that way easily.

I keep expecting a stage musical of Willy WOnka and the Chocolate Factory to be honest. I can't imagine why no one's thought of that one.
